Rescue ~ Rehab ~ Rehome

Spike is a "Bugle" or maybe he is a "Beabull"….anyway, he is 2 years old and a Beagle-Bulldog MIX!  He is people friendly, loves playing with other dogs, and is an overall happy and goofy guy.  He is not only stoutly handsome, but a very strong 51 pounds.  He came to us after a not-so-comfortable life and after a couple weeks in a kennel, then neutering, he is now in a foster home.  He’s going to need some work on leash walking, but he is very food-motivated, so we know he’ll do well with his basic obedience training.

He played really well with the other dogs he met, but we don’t know about cats.   After just a couple days in his foster home, his foster mom said that he is really good for laughs and wants to spend a lot of time on her lap, he is quite affectionate!   He's also catching on that fetch is a lot more fun when he brings the ball back.  He allows it to be takedn from his mouth easily.  He also met the 1 and 2 year old niece and nephew and they all played nicely together.
