Meet Kiiro. Kiiro is estimated to be approximately one year old. He appears to be a yellow lab mix and he is neutered. Kiiro was abandoned in a parking lot of a large office building. Poor Kiiro just didn't seem to understand why his owner was walking him one minute and the next he was off leash and his owner was gone. Sadly, he began checking out the cars in the parking lot hoping to find his owner. Employees in the office building tried unsuccessfully to catch the scared young dog; the police were called and they lured him into their cruiser and took him to a local animal clinic. Although Kiiro was very frightened the first few days, he bonded to the clinic staff who cared for him. He plays so nicely with other dogs and is fine with the clinic cats. Kiiro wants to please and is playful and happy. He seems a little standoffish at first with people -- but warms up quickly for treats. Kiiro would like nothing more than to be adopted into a loving home where he can be a loyal companion forever. He would make a wonderful hiking or running partner because he is young, healthy and enjoys exercising. He does know how to chill out, too.
