Gabby is a beautiful 9 year old spayed female Golden Retriever.  Gabby is losing her home because her owner is being displaced and can't find a place to live that allows animals.  She has lived with her owner since she was a puppy. 

She is a typical Golden: Loving, friendly, gets along with the cat. Has been fine around  a mastiff that belongs to a relative.   Gabby has allowed the owner's grandchildren to climb all over her and play with her. She has never shown any signs of aggression to anyone or any other species. She is an inside dog and only goes outside to potty.  She tugs on the leash 'a little bit' but quiets down quickly and walks like a Lady.  Gabby is not destructive--she is no longer crated and is free in her home.   She is a bit chunky and would benefit from walks and play.  

This sweet girl needs a loving home where she can live out her life.  She is in good health and will be updated with vaccines before adoption.  She will reward your kindness with a happy Golden smile, wet kisses, and a wagging tail.  Won't you consider making Gabby your forever companion.  You won't be sorry!

Applications are the first step in the adoption process. Please do not call or email simply to express interest. We are all volunteers and receiving your application saves us time and helps to determine the best match for both people and dogs. 

We provide as much information as we currently have on each dog in their description. For questions on the adoption process, including fees, please review the Adoption page. If you have additional questions or are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application. Once we receive your application someone will be in touch to answer your questions.
 
We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link.
