Lindy is a 6yr old chocolate lab, who despite her sad background, is the epitome of sweetness… Since arriving in her foster home, Lindy’s true gem of a personality is emerging and she is proving to be the ideal companion. Her tail has not stopped wagging and she has the typical lab Velcro personality. Lindy likes to be near you all the time, or at least know where you are. She loves attention and wants nothing more than to be in your presence. She walks very well on leash, both with her two foster brothers as well as when alone. Lindy is housetrained, and demonstrates absolutely no aggression whatsoever; not with food, treats, bones, toys or affection. Lindy gets along very well with her foster brothers, and will even engage in play for brief periods. She’s an extremely laid back, mannerly, well behaved low maintenance dog, who listens very well and essentially will require minimal training, if any at all. Lindy loves going for rides, and her foster mom even takes her to work. Despite her initial extreme timidness, she’s done wonderfully meeting new peoples. Lindy immediately acclimated to her new surroundings and has demonstrated how adaptable she can be.
We believe Lindy would do best with another friendly canine companion and a home that isn't chaotic.

We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link.
