Corgi / Mixed : : Male : : Medium
It is a bird. It is a plane! It is an elephant! No, it’s just Rascal!!! Don't you just love his ears!?!? Rascal is a 2 year old, 40 pound mixed breed. He appears to have a German Shepherd head on a Corgi body, complete with stub tail. Those ears are reminiscent of The Flying Nun or maybe they're actually radar detectors, whichever, he is quite unique looking and handsome. Rascal knows some basic commands and is an equal opportunity treat eater. He loves to play fetch or tug (his choice) and is especially fond of couch time and belly rubs (preferably together). Another favorite is borrowing, rolling, and napping on some nice soft blankets. He is NOT fond of being crated and no amount of toys or treats has yet convinced him otherwise. We’re told he is good with kids, but he is a herding breed so breed knowledge and herd-able or older children would be best. Rascal is anxiously waiting for his netuer appointment in the next few weeks. (Well, he may not be, but his canine companions in his foster home are as he is a bit "humpy") Rascal's really a good dog. He'd be great for someone who wants a snuggly, lower-energy dog to be home with most of the time.
