Beagle / Mixed (short coat) : : Female (not spayed) : : Baby : : Medium
I'm patiently waiting for my SPECIAL forever home.
June is one of three female beagle mix pups that came into rescue with their Mom, April, at six weeks old from a high kill shelter in KY. They have been vetted, and dewormed. The pups have had their second puppy booster and are due again by May 20, 2021 when they will be old enough to be given rabies vaccine. June is sweet and outgoing--loves to cuddle and play. She was the escape artist of the litter and could slide through the fence rails like a slinky toy. Her growth in the past three weeks has solved that issue. A fence is recommended and preferred since these pups love to run and they are beagle mixes. She follows her nose and her curiosity. Mom is 30 pounds so it's possible her pups may be her size or larger when fully grown. June is doing well going outside to potty as long as she's kept on a schedule. Great accomplishment for young puppy. But, like any puppy, she will chew things she shouldn't and potty when she feels the need if not watched closely. She is dry overnight. June is the last of her litter and wonders why she wasn't chosen. We have told her that the BEST IS YET TO COME--but we will love her until her special home is chosen. Before choosing to adopt a puppy--be sure you can afford to vet and care for your pet for the remainder of its life. A mixed small breed could live 15-17 years. This is a committment to loving, caring, and training for a lifetime. June is Black with fawn eyebrows. She is tri-color. White on neck and chest with some black on chest. 4 white paws and tail tip. She is beautiful! Calender Grils: June's sister, Calendar Girls: July (Julie) (adopted) can also be seen on our website.
