Shih Tzu (long coat) : : Male : : Senior : : Small Learn more about the Shih Tzu.
Renzo came to his foster home after spending his nine and a half years of life making puppies in a breeding facility.
Living in a home was new for him. He had to learn to trust the kind humans. The sounds from the TV were fascinating. The reflection of that pup on the door of the dishwasher was strangely comforting. His foster mom has kept a belly band on him-- it has been increasingly dry as time goes on. He has never had a #2 accident in the house. Learning to do a long flight of steps to get to the yard is a work in progress, and foster mom gets a work out carrying him up and down. He enjoys when the neighbor dog comes to visit and would do well in a home with a confident dog to show him how good life can truly be. He lights up when he sees other friendly dogs. His foster mom says that Renzo is a very good cuddler. Renzo is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and has had a complete dental and is now ready for a forever home that can patiently help him continue to adapt to his new life.
