Meet Goldie! She is a 7, almost 8 (birthday in May 2023), year old Lhasa Apso. Goldie was rescued from a puppy mill as a retired breeding dog. She is still intact, but will be spayed prior to adoption. Goldie is very sweet and loves positive attention from her humans. However, because of her up bringing there are many things she has never seen or been exposed to in her lifetime. Some of the new things she has been experiencing with her foster family are: living in a house, walking on a leash, going to the bathroom outside, walking up and down steps, snuggling with her best human friends, watching T.V., seeing a robotic vacuum and many other things we tend to take for granted as every day experiences. You might be thinking, wow, this dog must be struggling with all this change. But, Goldie has been adapting wonderfully in her new environment. She is taking it all in and learning as she goes. Goldie loves taking long walks, hanging out with her two foster dog brothers and giving loving tail wags like they are going out of style. We are confident that with patience and love she will be a perfectly well adapted best friend who lives her “Golden” years in peace and happiness. Do you think Goldie could live her best life and celebrate her next birthday as part of your family? Let’s get Goldie living the life she finally deserves!
