Chelsea was adopted from a Texas shelter as a pup. Her family moved back to PA and can no longer keep her due to family illness. She is a beautiful, 2 year old, black shepherd mix. She is housebroken and uses a doggie door. She knows sit, down, shake, and loves to play fetch. Chelsea' s very attentive and eager to please. She has hip displasia, which is common in shepherds, and is doing great with glucosamine supplements, lots of exercise, and keeping her weight fit and trim.
In her foster home she has another female shepherd playmate and generally is good with other dogs. With her former owner, she enjoyed running off leash in the fields and swimming in the creek. She has had some exposure to cats and chased the ones that ran, but didn't bother the ones that stood up to her. She has also been exposed to children.
Chelsea wants an active home that will provide her with an active exercise regime and of course, lots of TLC.
