Pit Bull Terrier / Mixed : : Male (neutered) : : Young : : Medium
Meet Rascal a 1 year old ball of energy. He is part pit bull but we arent sure what else. He has beautiful bindle markings and is a lean looking dog. He is very sweet, loves to play with sticks and gives lots of kisses. You can never go wrong with a good belly rub either. He was found wandering along side the road and needs a lot of love and attention. He is a work in progress but he will make someone a great pet. Since he has been in foster care, he has gained 20 lbs and is still growing (weighs 48+ lbs.). He still needs to gain some more weight. Rascal has learned to sit, shake, high five, knows down, he rolls over and we are working on stay and come. He has taken to the foster families other dog (female) very well but he still needs continued socialization with other dogs. He likes to chase our cat but it is only to play. This is a dog that will need lots of play time and/or lots of walks. He does play rough with other dogs and seems to like female dogs better. We are working on his manners but he is still jumping up when meeting people. For right now, would be better in a home with no small children. Hes good on a leash, is crate and house trained. He can get a little mischievous when he gets bored. When the weather breaks, he will be attending obedience classes.
