Basset Hound / Mixed : : Female (spayed) : : Adult : : Large Learn more about the Basset Hound.
Poor Sassy--her owner could no longer keep her. Her vet records call her a 75 lb Basset Hound mix who was born in 2001. She has basset melt-your-heart brown eyes, and soft bassett ears that are shorter like a beagle's. She is housebroken, crate trained, and good with other dogs. She has learned not to chase the cat in her foster home and loves the fenced yard there. In the house she enjoys toys and chewees. She is very friendly and will ask for a belly rub soon after she meets you. Sassy just wants to be your friend so if you're looking for a buddy she's perfect for you. She is attending obedience classes with her foster mom. She's lost 10 lbs since these pics and is looking more fit and trim, and is more energetc. Application, references, home visit required. Email h2hadopt@ptd.net for more information.
