Sweet little Puff came to us from a breeding situation where she spent her life raising babies in a pen not much different than a rabbit cage. Yet, she was determined to be a survivor and one day escape her horrid living condiitons. The day she came to us she had just been removed from her babies as they were ready "for sale". Puff was happy and loving from day one. Wanting only a gentle hand, food and a comfortable place to lay her head. Not once did she have an accident in her foster's home. Not really needing another canine companion, she co-habs with the resident small dog very nicely. Adding to "new things learned" she has learned to walk on a leash and enjoys daily walks with her foster and canine companion. Her foster Mom would like to see her go to a home with a fenced yard, as she loves to explore her environment slowly absorbing everthing with all of her senses: sight, touch, smell, and hearing. Puff is spayed, microchipped, has had a dental, up to date with vaccines and on monthy flea/tick/heartworm preventative. Apply to day--if you can offer Puff the home she has longed for and richly deserves.
Applications are the first step in the adoption process. Please do not call or email simply to express interest. We are all volunteers and receiving your application saves us time and helps to determine the best match for both people and dogs.

If you have additional questions or are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application. Once we receive your application someone will be in touch to answer your questions.
We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link.
