UPDATE 5-14-24:
Joey attended an adoption event this week and made himself the "designated greeter" to animals and humans alike. He didn't meet a dog or human he didn't win over. AWESOME PUP!
Joey came to us via rescue partners from Kentucky. He had been turned into a County Shelter because his owners had too many animals. His foster mom says Joey is mild mannered and bonds to people quickly. He has been fine with dog savvy cats that he has met. Joey is doing well with the children in the family and is being taught to "not jump up". He is crate trained and housetrained. This sweet young fellow will make someone an awesome companion.
Because Joey is such a social boy who loves to play--we would like to place him with another playful friendly dog or two. He will make a family or active owner an awesome companion.
Joey is neutered, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, and is on monthly flea/tick/heartworm preventatives.

Applications are the first step in the adoption process. Please do not call or email simply to express interest. We are all volunteers and receiving your application saves us time and helps to determine the best match for both people and dogs.
We provide as much information as we currently have on each dog in their description. For questions on the adoption process, including fees, please review the Adoption page. If you have additional questions or are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application. Once we receive your application someone will be in touch to answer your questions.
We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link.
Thank you!
