Hound / Shepherd / Mixed (short coat) : : Female (spayed) : : Adult
Patti is a young Shephard/Hound Mix. She is mild mannered and an easy keeper. Patti absolutely LOVES being outside and is always game for a long walk with her people. True to her hound genes, she will try to chase a small, running animal in the woods, when out on a walk. Since her prey drive is strong, we do not recommend any kitty friends for this sweet girl. Patti is dog friendly and frequently tries to entice her foster siblings into a good round of play. When she can’t convince them to play with her, she is content trying to give them doggy kisses to show her affection. Patti’s absolute favorite activity is chasing water from the garden hose. She would play in the water for hours if you let her! While she has not been around small children since in our foster program, we feel she would be a great family dog due to her calm and gently demeanor. Patti does not appreciate being crated but does well inside the home roaming free. She loves to snuggle up with her family in bed at night and remains content until morning. Patti is house trained, up to date on her vaccines/rabies, spayed and on monthly heartworm/flea/tick preventatives.
