Boxer : : Female : : Medium
Layla is a sweet 9 month old white boxer female. She currently weighs approx. 40 pounds. Layla and her Mother, Star, recently lost their home. Star had been Layla's constant companion since birth, but has now been adopted. Layla is almost housetrained . She is high energy and requires a lot of time, attention, training, exercise, and, of course, love. She doesn't mean to be destructive, but like any young pup, if she gets bored, she will latch on to an unclaimed shoe or child's toy. She is super friendly - with the typical happy boxer butt wiggle. Layla is good with other dogs, cats, and children and has been raised in a household with all three. Layla has been living in a foster home with a three-year-old child and two adult boxers who love her. She sleeps with the little girl or with Mom and Dad. She also visits her foster grandma's farm everyday and has a great time running with more boxers. She loves water and jumps into her foster's pond to swim and frolic. Layla does not know a lot of commands but is working on sit, stay, and down. She seems to be very intelligent and willing to learn. Layla is playful, loves car rides, and walks well on a leash. Layla needs a forever home with another friendly playful dog as she has always been in a home with other canines. A fenced in yard or a property far away from traffic is important for Layla. She needs an owner who understands that boxer pups are high energy and need lots of attention and love. She is a sensitive dog who responds well to consistent and gentle training.
Layla is spayed, on interceptor and K-9 Advantix, and she is UTD with vaccines..
