5/25/2010 From Foster Parents:
This is a very friendly, lovable little pup. Loves to cuddle. A typical puppy, she likes to play and sleep, but does play more than she sleeps. Annie sleeps in a crate without any problems, and is crated intermittently if we have to leave her alone during the day. Gets along "very" well with other dogs: one large American Bulldog, and one older Yorkie. She also is fine with cats. She'd play with them if they'd reciprocate, but nothin' doin' with our boys. Annie is House trained; however, she is still a puppy so has to be taken out regularly. She will alert you that she needs to go out "if" you are paying attention. Not a big barker--mostly, she barks when she plays. And, she is a very intelligent puppy. She does not exit or enter the house without a command, and walks well on a gentle leader (just beginning this; but, given how fast she learns, she'll probably walk well without it in a very short time). Annie is one happy little girl.
Annie is a true mixed breed pup. She is approximately 4 months old. We think she may be Dachshund and terrier, but no one is completely sure. Annie will probably not get much larger than she is at the present time. Annie was found as a stray and is now staying with a really nice foster family. Annie is not spayed; Spaying will be a requirement for adoption. She will be up to date with vaccines before adoption.
