Ethan needs a caretaker or foster! Won't you consider helping him get a new start?
Ethan is a 1 1/2 year old Border Collie mix who was rescued from a high kill shelter in Georgia. He was dumped in a local kennel by a person posing as a representative from a reputable dog rescue. This person scammed the kennel owners and disappeared. Poor Ethan and his brother Edgar have been kenneled for about 3 months; Haven to Home was called in to help them find a good home. His brother, Edgar, was helped by another organization. He is completely vetted and he is neutered. He tested negative for lyme disease, parasites and heartworm. He is a sweet friendly guy who just loves affection. If given the opportunity to potty outside, he does not have accidents in his kennel. Ethan seems to get along with other dogs and was introduced to some kitties while at the kennel. He greeted tiny puppies with gentle interest. Ethan was a little food aggressive with his brother so they were not kenneled together. Ethan needs a foster or permanent home soon--this poor guy has had very little exercise in 3 months; yet, he quickly calms down when he is taken from his kennel and given attention. Ethan is anxiously awaiting a permanent placement with a loving family.
