Four little charmers came in to our rescue today.  They are border collie/lab mixes and oh so cute.  Haley, Howie, Hank and Heather.  Haley is beautifully marked with a wide white stripe on her face.  She is the shyest of the four, but is warming up to her foster family very quickly.  They were bathed, fed, and pampered; settling in nicely.  Will make a wonderful companion dog.  Have been vetted today for the first time (1/28/2011)

UPDATE from Foster:Haley is quietly tough, she'll sit on your lap & bark if a 'stranger' (the cat) comes around.  Haley is coming out of her shell & is doing really well on a leash & listens well if we are playing out back in the snow off the leash.  She does her business outside with no problems & doesn't potty in the crate.  When she is in her crate she is quiet, she plays great with Howie & and (my dog) but when she's tired she comes to you & we put her on the couch & she lays on our lap & watches the others play. She gives kisses & likes to cuddle, she's still shy with strangers but warms up quickly.

We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link.
