Dimitry is a pomaranian/sheltie mix who the vet estimates to be 5 or 6 years old. He is a sweet, handsome dog (much more handsome than captured in photos) with expressive eyes and a winning, eager-to-please personality He is housebroken, crate trained, and rides nicely in the car. He is playful with the dogs in his foster home, enjoys meeting new people, and when he meets new dogs, tries to engage them in gentle play. He is sometimes pully on a leash, but loves the fenced yard in his foster home. He is completely vetted and ready for a forever home that will appreciate his winning personality and devotion. His foster mom knows what a great, special dog he is and would love to see him in a home with a big fenced yard and some kids and other dogs to play with.

He is an absolute SWEETHEART. Dimitry is really enjoying his backyard here; at first he didn't really know what to do, but now actually kicks up his hind legs when he runs!! He loves to run alongside the kids in the yard and he runs like a little collie! He is a really sweet dog and is fine in the house. He is an unusual, beautiful dog; only part of his ears have long fur and they are very expressive!!

If you have additional questions or are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application. Once we receive your application someone will be in touch to answer your questions.

We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link.
