Schatzie a.k.a. Scooby is a very sweet 6 month old male Miniature Schnauzer who is ready to share his love with a loving family or individual. Schatzie was relinquished by his breeder because he is blind in one eye and she wanted him to be adopted into a loving family. Schatzie had an eye infection in his right eye when he was a few weeks old and it resulted in blindness; however, he is NOT disabled. He runs and plays with other dogs and is respectful of the cats in his foster home. He was rather shy at first, but now he follows his foster family around and loves to cuddle and get belly rubs. Schatzie loves the outdoors and enjoys his foster family's fenced in yard. Schatzie is just learning to walk on a leash and needs work and patience with leash training. He shares food, toys, and affection with other dogs in his household. Schatzie would enjoy a household with otherfriendly dogs. He is going to make somone a wonderful loving companion.

We provide as much information as we currently have on each dog in their description. For questions on the adoption process, including fees, please review the Adoption page. If you have additional questions or are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application. Once we receive your application someone will be in touch to answer your questions.
We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link.
