Daisy is almost 9 years old, a sweet, calm, easy-going yellow lab mix who needs a new home due to her elderly owners moving into housing where dogs are not allowed. She has had two homes in her 9 years. She enjoys being with people, adjusted very quickly to this recent move from her owners to a temporary home, rides well in a car, is UTD and spayed, and is known for smiling at you. She walks well on a leash and was used to walking about 1 mile a day. She responds to her name and listens well. She has used an underground electric fence in the past. She is a little excited when someone arrives at her house but calms down quickly, not jumping just a few barks. She has no fears, likes belly and face rubs, and just needs a home with love and companionship. She is a people focused dog who will make a great pet for anyone looking for a less active, senior dog.
Applications are the first step in the adoption process. Please do not call or email simply to express interest. We are all volunteers and receiving your application saves us time and helps to determine the best match for both people and dogs.

We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link.
