Lovey is a basset hound who was found as a stray in a rural area. Her owners could not be located and she is presently in the care of the kind folks who found her and called us to help with finding her a forever home. They have provided comfy accommodations for her in an outdoor kennel. She comes in the house to visit and is OK around the cats, rabbits, and guinea pig there. She does seem very comfortable in the house so must've been a housedog; she does not jump on the furniture.
Lovey got her name because she is people friendly and she was fine with the dog that our volunteer introduced her to. She does well with leash walking and likes car rides. Lovey will be vetted, including spaying, prior to adoption. The finder estimated her age to be around 3 years old.
