Kassie is a 3 year old, min pin/chihuaha mix who came to us a few months ago when she was about to give birth to puppies. All her babies have gone to their forever homes. Now, 12 weeks later, Kassie is spayed and ready for her own forever home. She has gotten her pre-pregnancy, girlish figure back and weighs all of 7 lbs and 2 oz. Her foster mom, who affectionately calls her Kassie Jane, says she is looking good! She describes her as sweet, cute, and submissive. She'll roll over and show her belly. Kassie is NOT a fan of the cold weather and has selected a big dog bed with soft pillows and blankets and will find the sunny spot on the kitchen floor to lay in whenever she can. She sleeps in her crate at night and will burrow into the blankets and cover herself up. She does well with the other dogs in her foster home, will playfully chase the cat, but she is not a high energy dog and enjoys cuddling on a lap. She doesn't play with toys, but does like her chewies, and is not at all food aggressive. She is crate trained, rides well in the car, and is accustomed to being leash walked.
