Foxy needs a caretaker or foster! Won't you consider helping her get a new start?
Foxy is a 47 pound collie mix who we estimate is 3 years old. We affectionately refer to her as “The Diva”! She is a friendly, young, athletic collie mix. She loves belly rubs and snuggling and adores every human she meets. She does not, however, do well with other animals and is looking for a forever home where she can be the only pet and her human will be home most of the time. She can be walked with other dogs as she can be redirected while on leash, but she has proven time after time that she can’t be trusted off leash with other dogs. She is not at all fond of being crated. If left home alone for too long, she has been known to get herself into some trouble (i.e. new mini-blinds were needed), so her forever home should be a retired, stay-at-home, or work from home person or family. She is OK loose in the house for short periods of time. Well, that was the bad stuff and in spite of it, her foster mom says, “Foxy is very playful and fun to have around. She has a lot of energy and enjoys playtime. She is very smart and loves to work her mind doing puzzle toys and learning new commands. She responds well to verbal commands and is not food motivated for training and wants pets and belly rubs for her reward."
