This pretty lady is Dinah. She is around 3 years old and weighs 50 pounds. She is a pit mix and from her ears and gait, it's been said that looks a lot like a French Bulldog. Her foster family says she is an “awesome pup”! Upon arrival at her foster home, she blended in easily with the family which includes 2 other dogs and children. She knows sit, shake, down, is house trained, and has adjusted to crate training. She takes treats very gently from the adults and the kids, has shown no food aggression, and loves to play with toys. Dinah loves co-piloting on errands in the car and will high-five if she isn’t getting enough pets and attention.

She is very loving and greets everyone with affection. If you don’t mind a dog that covers your kids with kisses, Dinah will make an amazing companion. She really deserves a loving family of her own.

There is a cat in the foster home that Dinah chases and grabs. The cat lives upstairs now. Training might help to stop the behavior, but it will take a lot of time and patience.

We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link.
