Huckleberry is a 5 1/2 year old Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever (a Tollar). He is the sweetest boy ever. But he is sad and lost because he lost his home and everything that is familiar to him. Huckleberry was relinquished because his owner died and the family was unable to care for him. Seems our sweet Huckleberry was alittle over indulged and under exercised as he weighs in at a whopping 104 pounds (before we had to clip him due to matting). Other than being overweight, Huck is in good health. He is great with other dogs and cats. We aren't sure about children -- but assume he would be fine with respectful children.
Huckleberry needs a loving owner who will feed him a healthy diet and provide him with much needed exercise. He captured our hearts immediately. Huck seems so sad and misplaced right now. If you want a companion who will give you his whole heart - Huckleberry is the guy for you!
