You have to meet ME to appreciate my great personality!

My name is Scout. I am 1 1/2 years old and am a Min Pin/Chihuahua mix. I am very friendly and sweet and at 11 pounds, the perfect cuddle size. I just LOVE other dogs so I would be sad to find myself without a friendly canine friend. I sleep with my foster mom at night; I cuddle up with her and my foster brothers and sisters. I used to spend a lot of the time in a crate, but now that I am living with my foster mom, I am never crated. Please know--I am not destructive. I am housetrained, but may need a refresher course when I come to live with you. At the present time, I use a doggie door to access a wonderful fenced in yard where I go to play with lots of other dogs--big and small. It would be wonderful to have a fenced in yard of my own.

Loud voices make me cringe, because I think I'm in trouble. So, I need someone who speaks nicely to me. My foster Mom says I'm her kind of guy, but she knows I can make someone else very happy.

PLEASE NOTE: Applicants who can provide Scout with a friendly canine playmate and a fenced in yard will be given priority.

We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link.
