About Cisco

Cisco is a 7 year old pug/cattle dog-heeler mix. He is always ready to go for a walk, enjoys running around the yard, and loves car rides. He especially loves people and attention.

He is very well mannered, he only gets on the furniture when invited and is crate trained. He is house trained and sleeps on the bed at his foster mom’s feet.

He presently lives with another dog and cats. His foster mom says that he doesn’t chase the cats, just enjoys watching them. He has lived with other dogs, but would probably prefer being an only. The younger dog that he presently lives with has more energy than Cisco.

Cisco was adopted from us when he was younger and about 20 pounds, his owners recently passed away and he was returned to us at 39 pounds. He has been on a strict diet and the weight is coming off, but he may just have that well-padded Pug-like physique. His forever home should be committed to his good health with continued diet and exercise.

His foster mom calls him an “absolutely lovable and precious boy” and says he always makes them laugh.

We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link.
