Diego is a sweet little guy with an independent spirit. He was a stray. The vet thinks that he is a rat terrier and about 7-9 years old. He weighs 23 pounds and could stand to lose a few. He is neutered, his teeth look good, and he is up to date on shots. He did have an eye irritation when found and has some photosensitivity at the present time.
Diego is housetrained, walks well onleash, enjoys long walks and will stop to rest in shady spots along the way. He is not comfortable around large dogs and seems like he'd most enjoy a quiet home without other dogs. He likes people, is not cuddly, will accept attention, and go back to his own quiet space for a nap when he has had enough. This little guy really deserves a loving, caring home that can keep him safe, protected, and cherished for all his days! If you have a sofa or chair in front of the window where he can nap, please fill out the application to take Diego home.
