Lady Gaga is an incredibly playful, sweet, shy, 1 year old female German Shephard (mix?) who currently weighs 45 pounds. No doubt she will grow a little larger. Called Lady for short, an owner couldn't ask for a bigger cuddle bug or a better companion. She is good with kids of all ages (tried and true), other dogs, and cats, too, with slow introduction. Lady has a definite preference for women and is, quite frankly, fearful of men. She would be most comfortable in a home where she can bond with a woman. Lady does ok living in a home with a guy around as long as she has her, “person” to comfort her and make her feel secure.

Lady is crate trained, house trained (for the most part), spayed, and up to date on vaccines. Lady enjoys playing with her foster dog siblings, going on walks and hikes, and playing tug. While she does need continued leash training, she learns quickly and aims to please. She is a young semi-energetic pup who will need regular exercise.

Lady has had a rough start in life, and needs someone to provide her with security, training, and love. She will return your love many times over. Despite her rough past, she has given people a second chance and is waiting on the right person to give her a chance to prove she can be a great companion.

We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link.
