Bailey Rae is small in stature but big in heart!
Bailey is a pretty three year old spayed/female boxer. Bailey's family loves her very much but is unable to provide the care and exercise that she needs right now. Bailey recently had abdominal surgery to remove a large stone that couldn't be passed. She is recovering nicely in her home. Bailey is in good health otherwise and has been extremely well cared for by her owners. She loves her teeth brushed, has her ears cleaned once a week, is given routine baths and enjoys her "tub time". This girl is very friendly with people. She gets along with small dogs, some large dogs and simply loves CHILDREN. Bailey enjoys having the sweeper used to brush her beautiful red fawn coat. Bailey loves: cuddle time and to be covered, toys, beds, blankets, ice cubes, kong and treats. Being very smart and inquisitive she has learned to push the button on the fridge to get herself some ice :) Her owners tried an electronic fence but it scared her so she enjoys a physically fenced yard. Crate training was attempted for a long period of time, but Bailey becomes too anxious and will soil in crate. She is better behind a tall gate if she needs to be contained. Bailey is on grain free food and sometimes has sensitive skin from seasonal allergies. This girl will be a loyal, loving companion. She would prefer someone who is not gone 8 hours a day or someone who can stop in and check on her. She is just adorable and lovely. Bailey enjoys a good "romp" so a fenced in yard is a PLUS. She needs to be monitored and/or provided with more activity so she doesn't become bored and eat things she shouldn't.
