Zeus is a very sweet and cuddly 4 year old pit mix. He thinks he's much smaller than he is and will try to fit in the tiniest of spaces just to be next to his humans. Zeus was picked on by other dogs in his former home. He is now enjoying the company of friendly canines and is beginning to play joyfully again. Zeus is a great kisser and is always willing to give his humans affection. He does like to chase the kitties in his foster home, so a dog savvy cat with a place to hide is best. He is learning quickly to be friends with the kitties. When he came to us he needed "LEASH WALKING 101" but he's a good student and learning manners. He is being taught sit, leave it, down, crate up, and other commands. Because he gets so excited to meet new people, he needs some work on behavior and manner, but he is an avid student. Zeus is strong, but not aggressive. He is not a barker, so if you're looking for the strong and silent, yet loveable type, he's your boy!
Applications are the first step in the adoption process. Please do not call or email simply to express interest. We are all volunteers and receiving your application saves us time and helps to determine the best match for both people and dogs.

We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link.
