Red Alert! We've got an overload on cuteness coming your way!Isn't this papillon mix absolutely adorable? Lizzy J came to us when her owner passed away and the family was unable to take care of her. Despite the sad situation, her foster says she may be the sweetest foster she's ever fostered.
Lizzy is 9 years old - if it wasn't for the paperwork with her birthdate, we would have guessed she was MUCH younger. Lizzy is always so happy and full of life. She doesn't know the meaning of the word stranger and every person she meets is a friend. Lizzy is currently being fostered with 3 large dogs. They coexist well now that they've learned she is the queen and they must defer to her. Therefore, a home with other dogs who are willing to give her the respect she demands will be needed. She's never lived with cats, but recently met a dog-savy cat and was just a tiny bit curious. Lizzy would probably do best with children past toddler age.
This little cutie is very curious and cannot be trusted off leash. She needs a home with a physical fence or a leash only home. She loves going for walks and hikes, and in fact she needs to loose a couple pounds (doctor's orders) so someone who will keep her exercised beyond the yard would be awesome. Bonus: if you like going on adventures, she makes an excellent co-pilot in the car! Lizzy is housetrained, but she does ask to go out about every 4hrs. When her foster leaves she is crated and keeps her crate clean.
