I'm a canine checkerboard!
Sedric is a mixed breed puppy. Mom is a long haired Chihuahua and Dad is a Shih Tzu/Poodle Mix. Dad is Tucker S also on our website. Brother Shamus, and sisters, Sheridan and Shawnee are pending adoption. Sedric has been well socialized and is friendly and outgoing. He has had his first set of shots at 8 weeks old and is healthy and happy. He loves to romp with his siblings; but also enjoys cuddle time with his human caretakers. He begs to be held and petted. His coat is soft, but straight at this time in his life. He is quite the handsome fellow with his black and white patches and his sweet little face. Before applying please understand that puppies need a lot of care and patience. If you work an eight hour day--it is not likely a puppy can be easily accomodated. Sedric is eating 4 small meals a day, and needs plenty of playtime and human interaction. Sedric will be most happy in a home where he will have other canine friends. To ensure proper housetraining and socialization, puppies will only be adopted to homes where an adult will not be away more than ONE HOUR per MONTH of age of the puppy (up until 6 six months of age). For example: Sedric should not be alone more than two hours at a time. Please fill out an application and kindly give us 24-48 hours to respond. We are an all volunteer organization and do anticipate quite a few applications for this cutie :) More about Irish 3: SedricGood with Dogs, Good with Kids Irish 3: Sedric's sister, Irish 1: Shawnee (adopted) can also be seen on our website.
