A Million Dollar Smile

Bella is a 12 year old JUG.  She is 3/4 PUG and 1/4 JUG (Jack Russel/Pug mix).  Upon meeting her, you will never believe she is 12 years old except for her little graying face. Unfortunately, her owner is moving and can't take sweet little Bella along.

Her former owners said that Bella loves to snuggle under a soft blanket and when sound asleep has been known to SNORE.  She gets very excited when she is praised and shown attention. That's when her little personality REALLY SHINES and her BEAUTIFUL SMILE LIGHTS up her little face.  Bella loves to eat - who doesn't?  She will forage for more food wherever she can find it and doesn't always take treats as gently as she should.  It's surprising that she has maintained her youthful figure at 24 lbs and still has a very nice waistline.

A home with no SMALL children would be best for Bella as little children scare her - she was tormented by a small child in a previous home.  She has never shown any aggression and is sweet and compliant.  Bella is crate trained--but it really is not necessary.   She has done well with the other dogs she has met since in her foster home.  Bella has not been around cats that we know of, but made a recent visit to a pet store where cats are available for adoption and she was not interested in them, just turned away.

Her former owners said Bella always loved to cuddle on the couch but since being placed in a foster home it seems like she has to learn to trust humans all over again.   Her foster said she is slowly coming out of her shell after the shock of being displaced.  It is not surprising that Bella is having a little difficulty adjusting to her new life after so many years with her previous family.  Her foster reports that she is starting to seek out some cuddle time--and has played with her toys for the first time.  She likes to give kisses, but will cower if you move your hands to quickly towards her.

Bella is in good health.  She is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, has had senior bloodwork done, is microchipped, and is on heartworm/flea/tick monthly prevention.

Won't you give this lovely senior PUP a great home where she will be cherished for the rest of her life?  She has lost the only home she has known through no fault of her own.
