Double the Cuddles, Double the Fun

Little John is a 5 year old shih tzu.  He and his companion, Beni, are in need of a new home due to owner's health issue and inability to provide enough attention.  They are extremely sweet little boys who have always been loved, cared for and nicely groomed. Both pups are treated ocassionally for seasonal allergies. Both are neutered and up to date with vaccinations.  They are microchipped, too.  The boys are housetrained and get along very well with other dogs.  They currently are in a foster home with three other small resident dogs and they enjoy playing and cuddling with their "brother and sisters".  At night, they now curl up in bed with their foster mom and their new buddies.  They can be crated, but have done very well loose in the house when their foster mom is away.

Neither of the dogs is used to small children and will hide if little ones are visiting.  They have never shown aggression of any kind, butwill not adopted to a home with younger children due younger children not respecting a little dog's space.  Older children should be fine.

LJ and Beni have always been together so we are waiting for the right adopter to give them both a loving home.

Applications are the first step in the adoption processPlease do not call or email simply to express interest. We are all volunteers and receiving your application saves us time and helps to determine the best match for both people and dogs.

We provide as much information as we currently have on each dog in their description. For questions on the adoption process, including fees, please review the Adoption page. If you have additional questions or are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application. Once we receive your application someone will be in touch to answer your questions.

We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link.

 Thank you!
