Pretty Penelope

Penelope is a 10 month old Cocker Spaniel/Pomeranian Mix.  She and her sister, Buffy, have been relinquished to H2H because their owner was not allowed to have animals where she currently lives.  Penelope is spayed, up to date with vaccines and has been placed on monthly flea/tick/heartworm prevention.  

Penelope has been raised with other dogs and is currently in a foster home with another small dog. She is energetic and playful--but her house companion doesn't understand her youthful exuberance.  She would enjoy another canine companion who enjoys playing as much as she does. Penelope is housetrained and cratetrained (although she would rather not spend too much time in a crate).  She is very curious about new things.  Seems to watch TV and has stopped on walks to watch hawks flying high in the sky. She is willing to please and is a quick learner.  Penelope is learning to have better manners.  She loves her toys and being close to her people.  Penelope will make a wonderful little companion.

Applications are the first step in the adoption process. Please do not call or email simply to express interest. We are all volunteers and receiving your application saves us time and helps to determine the best match for both people and dogs. 

We provide as much information as we currently have on each dog in their description. For questions on the adoption process, including fees, please review the Adoption page. If you have additional questions or are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application. Once we receive your application someone will be in touch to answer your questions.
 
We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link.
