Loves Milk, Cheese, Playing Ball, & Car Rides
Update: July 12, 2020: Gracie is doing well in foster care , She is learning to walk well on leash. Tolerates using a head halter for longer periods of time. Easily distracted by great smells and wildlife. Loves to chase balls. can catch mid air or on a bounce. UPDATE: June 5, 2020: Gracie is doing well in foster care. She LOVES playing with her foster sister who is a service dog. They are like two peas in a pod. In quiet times, Gracie loves to cuddle on the couch with her foster mom and her foster fur sister. May 3, 2020: Beautiful Gracie is a black lab mix. She is a little shy on first meeting but warms up quickly. Gracie's hunting instinct kicks in when she sees small animals: chipmunks, squirrels, birds, kitties, etc. so a fenced in yard is recommended to adopt Gracie. She loves to run and may be a flight risk if she sees something interesting. Gracie is an avid ball player and loves to ride in the car. Some of her favorite foods are milk and cheese--she might even like to go for an occasional ice cream cone. Although she has lived with an older calm dog, and is currently living with a furry companion, Gracie will do best with a calm, balanced companion. Gracie has been successfully introduced to a few dogs while with her caretaker--so with slow introductions to a friendly dog by an experienced, patient owner, she may very much enjoy a home with a furry companion (not a cat). Because she is fairly large and active, she is recommended for older children only. Gracie is up to date with vaccines, spayed, and microchipped. If you are patient, loving, and want a lovely, loyal companion--Gracie just may be the one for you! She's a cuddler, too!
