What I lack in stature, I make up in cuteness!

Hi my name is Carl.  I came to H2H after a family took him me in and then realized that little children are not my thing.  They're noisy, squeally little creatures!

I am approximately 5 years old -- a  Golden/Sheltie Mix.  They had to shave me because my prior owners didn't brush me and I was badly matted.  Boy, did it feel good to lose all those knots and get a good bath--those knots were very painful.  When my coat is cared for, I'm soft and silky.  I think I'm okay with cats and I am presently living with a BIRD!

I would like a forever home with no young children because I tend to get a little cranky if you insist on touching my feet and hanging on me.  Come on--admit it--aren't YOU a bit ticklish, too.   I will be a loyal companion for adults.  Hanging out with my people and going for walks are my favorite things to do!  I got outside to potty and I'm up to date on vaccines and microchipped.  They say I'm neutered -- or did they say tutored?  Well, YOU probably know what they mean?   I will go into a crate, but I don't need one!  I am a good boy!  I'm also on monthly flea/tick/heartworm preventative.

So if you want a really good boy who just isn't crazy about little kids hanging on them and making them sticky with lollipops etc.--I'm the guy for you!  Please come soon!

We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link.

 Thank you!
