Scooter is a 7 month old Lab Mix Puppy. He was sent to Central PA; saved from a high kill shelter in KY. Loving and sweet with his foster mom and dad, Scooter is also great with dogs and cats. He has tons of puppy energy and needs room to run safely. Lacking confidence, Scooter will do best with another friendly, confident dog, and he should have a fenced yard as he is fearful and could be a flight risk. Scooter loves to cuddle on his terms--he especially likes to climb into bed each morning with his foster mom and dad. Still very shy, if you go towards him quickly, he will run. He is very food motivated, so we assume that he did not have a great beginning--little food and little kindness. Scooter sleeps quietly in his crate at night. Scooter needs a committed owner who will continue his "education" and will gain his trust. He will be neutered and microchipped on June 28 and will then be ready for his FOREVER home.

We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link.
