They call me "Zippy", but I've only had that name since January 2022. I was found at a gas station in KY, alone and scared. I wish I could tell you my story. But, thankfully some nice ladies in KY rescued me and ask Haven to Home if they would find me a good home. I am approximately 6-7 years old and the vet thinks I'm a Jack Russell Terrier Mix. I am currently fostered by a wonderful Mom and Dad and I live with two laid-back senior Pugs, and two rambunctious French Bulldog puppies. I love my foster family and get along with everyone. My foster Mom and Dad say I am very special. I especially love long hours of cuddle time with my human fosters. I am house trained and will use puppy pads when I can't get my folks attention to go out to the fenced -in yard. I am now neutered and up to date with my vaccinations. I am on flea/tick/heartworm preventative.
I am looking for special forever home where I will be loved, and be able to cuddle with my humans. I need who family who will make me their "heart dog".

We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link.
