Chinese Crested-Powder Puff : : Male : : Young : : Small
With those big ears (the better to hear you with my dear) and his quick movements, you may think that you have stumbled across the Energizer Bunny, but you would be mistaken! Meet the irresistible Loot, a one year old puff, Chinese Crested boy. Due to severe matting Loot has been shaved down to the skin but with some love and attention this boy can have a beautiful, long flowing coat. He is a little guy at only 10 pounds but has a big personality. Loot has quickly blended into my 7 pack that includes, male, female, big, small, old, young and handicapped. This boy is a fantastic walker either by himself or coupled with 2 other small dogs. Loot enjoys car rides and spending quality lap time with either myself or my husband. Loot is great with my grandsons and after an initial bark or two quickly warms up to strangers. I do not have a cat but I do have a friend that allows me to “cat test” my fosters with hers. The cats absolutely had no fear of Loot. Tiny Loot, however, was unsure of what those large orange cats that were twice his size were! Conclusion, he aced his cat test and should do fine with dog friendly cats! Loot is crate trained and has shown no destructive behavior. He is scheduled to be neutered at the end of the month but at this time is wearing a belly band to check the marking behavior. Loot responds quickly to verbal corrections, is treat motivated and goes in and out of my doggy door. Lucky Loot will be ready for his forever home around March 1. At that time he will be neutered, UTD on shots, and microchipped. He is on monthly heart worm/flea/tick/preventatives.
