Kaya and her companion were found abandoned on a  back road.  She has been placed in a foster home where 
she is really coming out of her shell.  Her foster mom says "she is super sweet, and walks wonderfully on leash. Kaya doesn’t react when other dogs bark at her on walks; she’s playful, loving and is currently living with four other dogs."  Kaya has been spayed, updated with vaccines and on heartworm/flea/tick preventatives.  

She will be a wonderful companion to the lucky person who adopts her.

For questions on the adoption process, including fees, please review the Adoption page. If you have additional questions or are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application. Once we receive your application someone will be in touch to answer your questions.
 
We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link.
