Panda is a  long haired Chihuahua/Papillon. He is 7 years old, neutered, and up to date with vaccines. He is on heartworm and flea preventatives. Panda would like to have a quiet life where he can be a loving companion. He is very sweet and affectionate and likes to be a lap dog. Panda has recently gone to live with a new foster mom who only has one other dog.  He seems to be happier in a quiet household.  His new foster mom says he bonded  to her immediately and is enjoying being cuddled.  At night he sleeps on the bed with his foster mom, a dog and a cat. 
 
Panda lost his original home when his owner, who loved him so much, died suddenly.  His owner's daughter tried to keep him but he is fearful of small children and therefore should not be placed in a household with little children.  
 
Panda walks well on a leash and is housetrained. Please think about making Panda your loving little companion.

For questions on the adoption process, including fees, please review the Adoption page. If you have additional questions or are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application. Once we receive your application someone will be in touch to answer your questions.
 
We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link.
