Naomi and her brother Necho would like to remain together. Please consider giving them a home together.

Naomi is a young 6 year old Shih Tzu/Caviler King Charles Spaniel mix.  She is white with some black spots and a black saddle. She has wonderful soft, luxurious black ears and a beautiful full white plume tail.   At 41 pounds you might notice the girl is overweight.   Naomi was being “loved” to death with treats, etc.  We have started her on WW (Wolf Watcher diet) and daily walks.  Yes -- eat less, move more works for 4 legged furry friends, too.  We hope that her adopter will continue this regime and help her to become the happier, thinner, healthier version of herself that she deserves to be!

Naomi along with her “twin” brother Necho are being re-homed due to no fault of their own; their previous owner is dealing with health issues.    We initially had them in different foster homes but it quickly became clear that while Naomi was fine, Necho was not a happy camper.  He did fine until he was left alone and then he barked continuously.  It is important to note that neither dog has done any damage in their foster homes.  Necho was just loud enough that the neighbors became concerned.  Since being reunited with his sister, Necho is quiet when left home alone.  These two have been together since birth.   No surprise they are so bonded!

Naomi is a good walker as long as it is done in the cool of the day, happily trotting along for a mile at a good pace.   She is good in the car and has yet to meet a stranger (no matter the age or sex) that she doesn't like.  Naomi easily integrated into my pack of five which includes male, female, big, small, young and old.  She is not good with cats.  This smart girl quickly learned to use our doggie door.  She has shown good house manners and will quickly do her business though prefers that her person accompany her and "clap" when she is done.  True to her breeds, Naomi is a great lap warmer and would love to be your bed buddy if allowed; she will sleep on the floor near you as well.

Our hope and goal is to find an adopter who is willing to offer a home to both of these sweethearts.  We understand that adopting two dogs is a big commitment in every way and we will be offering a discount for taking on this pair.  Double your pleasure, double your fun with this wonderful set of love bugs.  Just imagine HIS and HERS doggies!  Naomi and Necho walk well together, are fine left alone ,and can be trusted having free range in the home.  They have been a true joy to foster!

Both dogs will be up to date on shots, neutered and microchipped.  They are on monthly heartworm/flea/tick preventatives. They are truly ready to love and are being lovingly fostered in Northumberland, PA  17857.  Questions are welcomed at margaretwilliamsharvey@gmail.com.  For pictures and more information about Naomi’s brother please check out Haven to Home’s Necho.
