ATTENTION: Great Family Dog Alert!!!

LEO is a handsome ten month old Boxer/pitbull mix who is absolutely the sweetest dog in town.  Leo's owner took him in as a stray and due to ill health, is unable to keep him.  He was well cared for and well loved before coming to H2H.  Through no fault of his own, he now is looking for a new home. This boy weighs in at roughly 47 pounds but appears to have a little more growing to do.

This great boy gets along well with other dogs (large and small) and absolutely adores being around kids and adults alike. Cats are unknown, but we haven’t seen any indication that he wouldn’t do well with a dog savvy cat.

His favorite things to do are: going for walks, playing with his toys having a good snuggle with his people. Generally, Leo is a happy guy who greets everyone with an Energizer Bunny-like tail wag.  Leo’s smile goes on for days and you can’t help but smile along with him. He is eager to please and learn; he is treat motivated so teaching him simple commands like sit, give paw, etc. have been going well.  Did we say "he's smart AND handsome?"

Leo is completely house trained, crate trained, neutered, up to date on all of his vaccines and on monthly flea/ tick and heartworm preventatives.

If you are looking for an all around great family dog, then Leo is your guy!
