This Cookie is 12 pounds of sweetness, that is not only calorie free but will actually help you to burn calories!  This girl is an A+ walker that loves to "go", whether it be for long walks or in the car.  

 Sweet Cookie is good with gentle children and will be happy to snuggle with the man or woman of the house, whoever is available!  When taken for her cat test to a home that rescues cats, she passed with flying colors.  The cats were bigger than she is so she initially hid.  She did come out, but the cats deemed her harmless.  She quickly integrated and became part of a pack of six canines that includes old, young, male, female, large and small. Cookie will sleep in a crate but prefers to be a bed buddy snuggling up to her human.  Day one she taught herself how to use a large doggie door. She is making progress with her house manners.

Applications are the first step in the adoption process. Please do not call or email simply to express interest. We are all volunteers and receiving your application saves us time and helps to determine the best match for both people and dogs. 

We provide as much information as we currently have on each dog in their description. For questions on the adoption process, including fees, please review the Adoption page. If you have additional questions or are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application. Once we receive your application someone will be in touch to answer your questions.
 
We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link.
