Chance needs your love and leadership. Chance is a 35lb, less than a year old, yellow lab mix. He is a little timid at first, but will warm up to you and give you lots of kisses once he sees that he can trust you. Chance is somewhat underweight right now, but he has a healthy appetite and is enjoying being fed on a regular basis. Chance was found with his buddy Bandit, who seems to be the leader of the two. In addition to Bandit, Chance also lives with 2 other dogs with whom he gets along wonderfully. Chance does cling to his foster mom and likes to have her in site at all times. Chance is a very smart dog. With the right home that provides training and positive reinforcement, Chance will likely become much more confident and a loyal member of your family. Because of Chances insecurities we are recommending that he goes to a home without young children. Chance will be neutered on December 16th 2009.
Applications are the first step in the adoption process. Please do not call or email simply to express interest. We are all volunteers and receiving your application saves us time and helps to determine the best match for both people and dogs.

We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link.
