Jack Russell Terrier : : Male Learn more about the Jack Russell Terrier.
Scottie is a sweet little guy who loves to cuddle. He enjoys the company of other dogs and will wrestle, run and play chase with them. He pays no attention to cats because he was raised on a farm and learned a healthy respect at an early age. He is working on the housetraining, crate training and general manners. Currently, his area is limited by the use of a long leash and he doesn't seem to mind that at all. He likes to be with his people and has a very reliable recall. However, he should be controlled on leash or in a fenced yard to be safe since he is very interested in the big world out there! It is not known how he is with children, but he is so friendly that older children (10 years old or so) would probably be fine. He does jump up, so small children could be frightened or pushed over. He's learning to play with balls, but has ignored other toys unless it has a squeaker, then he'll carry it around, but eventually move on to other things. He can be possessive of toys with the other dogs, but he's fine with people. He is fed away from the other dogs because he wants to go to everyone else's dish, even if his food is unfinished. More learning in progress! IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ Click here for the ADOPTION APPLICATION if you are interested in adopting this pet. Applications are the first step in the adoption process.
