Meet Petunia--The Professional Lap Dog!

Looking for a new best friend who won’t leave your side? Do you want a dog who will cuddle with you for hours? Then Petunia is your gal! Weighing in at 10 pounds, she is the perfect size for cuddling.

Because Petunia is a retired momma who spent her life in a puppy mill, the world is so new to her. She is looking for a loving and patient home with a family who will continue to work with her as she adjusts to life as a loving companion. Petunia can be shy and timid at first, but give her some time and love and she will quickly become your best friend!

Petunia is great with dogs and cats. She does ok in a crate, but much prefers to be with her people snuggling on the couch. Her house manners are still a work in progress, so a patient family that can provide consistency and routine would help her greatly. Petunia is still learning to walk on a leash, so a fenced in yard is a must.

Petunia is up to date on all her vaccines, spayed and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives.

If you have additional questions or are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application. Once we receive your application someone will be in touch to answer your questions.

We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link.
